With little hope of finding Caylee alive at this point, I DO, STILL want to explore every lead that would suggest otherwise. I, like so many others, would love to be proved wrong and find this toddler still breathing!
Since the broadcast of Nancy Grace (Nov 21), I had a small spark of hope that someone Casey knows is actually holding onto Caylee to teach the tot mom a lesson. That would be a good scenario at this point. Who are Casey’s enemies? Many, I am sure. I bet she at least owes someone money and they had the idea to keep the daughter as collateral. “I will withhold your child until you give me every penny you owe me”!
Could that be a good reason she is stealing from everyone who crosses her path?
I am also quite certain that her brother, Lee, is not employed these days. He is doing the leg work of an amateur, private detective. Afterall, his father was a cop, it probably runs in his blood. He is driving around to different states and towns, tracking down the elusive tips that come in of possible Caylee sightings.
Good luck with that wild goose chase, Lee.
“timer55“, is Casey’s passcode she recently set for her computer. It is referring to the vague idea that someone she knows has taken Caylee and is setting a TIMER, so to speak, and will return her to the Anthony family in 55 days, to prove their point. Interesting idea. I guess the 55 days have since come and gone from the time of the “abduction”. That would be somewhere in August. Also, another theory of this term: From the computer forensic report
55 days from May 14th is approximately when they all left for Puerto Rico (july 8).
What gives me some hope is the idea of a kidnapper. I think this could be a good thing. Maybe there is a chance that, if people keep checking out all the tips, Caylee will be found with this child abductor. And here, I never thought it would be something to look forward to – a kidnapper and all, but it beats being dumped who knows where in a shallow grave in Florida.
The flip side to this hope is……..who or what was dead in the trunk of Casey’s car if it was not Caylee?
Rack of lamb, off-season turkey, all thawed out and oozing fluids? Not a precious little girl? Could it be the kidnapper’s accomplice? That would be a twist in the plot. Casey might be a vigilante semi-hero. Here is the scene: Franticly looking for her daughter, Casey catches up to one of her daughter’s kidnappers, only to knock them out while Caylee is still held captive by the main kidnapper. Once out cold, she over chloroforms this unconscious person. They die in the trunk of her car. Right, not likely. She would definitely need help with this. If she had someone helping her, I sure hope they confess to police soon!
That is my, albeit, pessimistic ray of sunshine on this drab case. Let’s hope for the best and expect and be prepared for the worst possible scenario.
Caylee’s Story leaves my heart broken. I wrote this song for Caylee:
